water-missions-haitiAt Crown Builders, we are always looking for ways to give back to others not only in our local community, but to those throughout the rest of the world. For this reason, last year, we donated to the Ballantyne Rotary Club’s Clean Water Project.

We did this because we understand that not every area in the world is fortunate enough to have access to clean water. For example, in Bayonnais, Haiti, it was discovered that their water was contaminated with fecal matter, E-coli bacteria, and other harmful contaminants. To fix this issue, the Ballantyne Rotary Club decided to raise money to bring clean water to this area of the world.

Once we heard about this project, our team at Crown Builders was eager to contribute to it. When the fundraising process was complete, almost $60,000 was raised for this project. As a result, the Ballantyne Rotary Club was able to install two water purification systems for the people of Bayonnais, Haiti to use.

The first of these systems was installed at a school, and the second system was installed at the medical center. Due to the locations of both of these systems, the entire community now has access to clean water.

At Crown Builders, we hope that the installation of these systems will make a difference in the lives of those living in this area of the world. If you’d like to know more about this particular project and some of the other ones we’ve been involved with, please contact us today.
